Steve Endacott, the man behind artificial intelligence (AI), is an entrepreneur from the south of England who wants his avatar is present in the House of Commons as a deputy for the Brighton Pavillion constituency.
“I’m setting up my own party after becoming disillusioned with how far others are from the UK population,” Endacott said in a post on LinkedIn.
On the website dedicated to the AI campaign Steve asks users if they want to join a team of “creators” who will help him create new policies. To do this, potential voters must click on the “Talk to AI Steve” option and fill in their personal details before interacting with the robot.

“It is not necessary to know anything about artificial intelligence, since all you have to do is press a button to talk to the character,” explains Endacott in a statement. “We hope to attract a broader audience than don’t want to talk to the AI through the quality of our policies”.
