Singer Justin Timberlake was arrested and is accused of driving while intoxicated in the New York town of Long Island, according to authorities.
It is expected that the actor and singer prosecuted in Sag Harboron the eastern tip of Long Island, according to a statement from the Suffolk County District Attorney’s office.
Los Timberlake representatives did not respond. immediately responded to requests for comment from The Associated Press.
Sag Harbor is a coastal town in the Hamptons, about 160 km from New York. In summer, it is a point of attraction for wealthy visitors who often spend the summer in its mansions.
As a young man, Timberlake was one of the best-known Disney child stars, it was at this time that he also maintained a tortuous romantic relationship with Britney Spears.
