The Italian coast guard had to rescue dozens of people who had gone sailing this weekend.
On Saturday night, rescue teams carried out twelve search and rescue operations in it Lake Como.
In total they saved 45 personas who were on board vessels suffering from strong winds that pushed them towards reefs on the coast.
The northern and central regions of Italy have been affected over the weekend by a wave of bad weather con thunderstorms, strong winds y low temperatures.
The National Department of Civil Protection issued a Weather alert yellow for eight regions of Italy.
