Kate Middleton will appear in public for the first time at the king’s birthday parade after being diagnosed with cancer

The Wale’s princess stated that he is “progressing satisfactorily” in his cancer treatment and is scheduled to attend King Charles III’s ceremonial birthday parade on Saturday, which will mark the first public appearance of Kate since her diagnosis.

Prince William’s wife, 42, who announced in March that she was undergoing chemotherapy for a type of cancer unspecified, has not made any public appearance this year.

“I’m making good progress, but as anyone who goes through chemotherapy will know, there are good days and bad days,” Kate said in a statement released Friday, adding that she faces “a few more months” of treatment.
