The Croatian Luka Modric, Real Madrid midfielder, assured this Friday that Spain It is one of the best teams at Euro 2024 in Germany, one of the favorites to be champion, but warned that Croatia is prepared to take a big step in the continental tournament.
Modric, who has only won one of the 6 games in which he has played minutes against Spain, has absolute respect for Luis de la Fuente’s team.
“We all want to play against the best and Spain is. We have to give our best version, but playing big games is never boring. We have proven to be at the top of European football and although we have not taken that step in the Euro Cups I am sure we can do it now,” he declared at a press conference prior to the duel, in the Berlin Olympic stadium where the match will be played.
