Firefighters fight two forest fires that began on Sunday in the districts of Yatagan and Ula, in the province of Muglaa popular summer destination in southwest Türkiye.
The fire began to spread early in the morning, and since then dozens of airplanes and ground vehicles to both places, with a deployment of almost 300 staff of emergencies.
According to Turkey’s Disaster and Emergency Management Directorate, the last week they declared more than 130 fires throughout the country. Most have been extinguished, but five were still burning in western Turkey on Sunday, according to the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry.
Thousands of evacuees due to the fires, which have caused no victims

The General Directorate of Forestry asked the population not to light fires outdoors for the next 10 days due to weather conditions in western Turkey, warning of a 70% higher risk of forest fires.
