The 14th Dalai Lama has just arrived in Switzerland on what will be a two-day whirlwind visit to officiate at a Tibetan Buddhist event at the Hallenstadion in Zurich.

The Tibetan spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama Tenzin Gyatso, has reached ZurichSwitzerland, for a visit that promises to be brief but full of meaning. The supreme representative of Tibetan Buddhists plans to remain on Swiss soil until August 26, with a main event scheduled for Sunday, August 25 at the emblematic Indoor stadium.

The Tibetan community of Switzerland and Liechtenstein (TGSL) enthusiastically announced that the Dalai Lama will participate in a long life ceremony and will offer a brief teaching in Tibetan. This special event will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. local time, followed by activities organized by the Tibetan community that will last until 2:00 p.m.
