Featherweights Omar Trinidad and Mike Plania both fight on Thursday for the 10-round main event taking place on Friday at Commerce Casino in Commerce, California.
The fight is the first big fight of 2025 and will take place against the backdrop of the Los Angeles wildfires.
Trinidad weighed in at 125.8 pounds, while Plania was slightly lighter at 125.0 pounds.
Trinidad, 28, from Boyle Heights, California, tries to maintain focus on his professional responsibilities. But admitted in an interview with BoxingScene earlier this week that It’s a “big thing to worry about” that’s affecting people in the LA area.

In the co-main event, junior bantamweight titleholder Mizuki Hiruta from Tokyo weighed in at 114.2 pounds for her U.S. debut, Maribel Ramirez from Mexico City. Mexico, weight 113.8 pounds
Hiruta, 28, will be defending his world title for the third time and is one year removed from the ring. She trains with Manny. Robles in Southern California And currently has a record of 6-0 (2 KOs), Ramirez, 38, is unbeaten in his past three fights and has a record of 15-10-4 (3 KOs).
The main card will be streamed on UFC Fight Pass, while the prelims will be streamed on the UFC Fight Pass YouTube channel.
