Gareth Southgate assured this Wednesday that England’s success cannot depend only on Jude Bellinghamnor rest on their shoulders, but the entire team has to contribute.
In the press conference prior to their match against Denmark, Southgate highlighted that it is a pleasure to work with Bellingham and that he is a “very coachable” player, in addition to having a fabulous mentality for big occasions.
“Over the years we have had good players and we have them now. The success of the team will not depend only on Jude. Not everything can rest on his shoulders. Everyone has to contribute,” said the strategist.
Southgate highlighted that the midfielder “had incredible moments” against Serbia, however, he stressed that it will be collective work that will bring the ‘Three Lions’ to a successful conclusion.
