Promoter Eddie Hearn told BoxingScene that Montana Love, Sergey Lipinets and Robbie Davies Jnr are potential opponents for Taylor as he looks to regain his mojo. But Hearn is keen to do the right thing for Taylor at this important stage of his career.
“It is difficult. Josh is about to break free from Catterall’s defeat. So you want to fight well, win and get momentum,” Hearn said.
“It depends on how you want to fight like that, for the performance, and what he wants in his career. You can’t throw him in there.
“We understand our obligation to get warfighters through at reasonable speeds.”
