“I like his style,” Jacobs said of Romero. “I love how explosive he is. And he’s smooth as water, like Bruce Lee tonight here. What I think Rollie does is he dominates the ball with a body shot there. Big left hook. In the first half of the battle He is fully loaded.”
Romero, 28, lost his 140-pound world title in March to Isaac “Pitbull” Cruz with a brutal eighth-round stoppage. The Las Vegas native wanted a win over Jaime. to maintain his status as a contender in the division.
When asked about the good times of Romero in the fight “In the second half, I felt like he adjusted and started punching the body,” Jacobs said. Great shot there with a left hook to deliver.”
