New Israeli airstrikes in Gaza, at least 100 victims. Another 21 civilians died in Khan Yunis.
An airstrike by the Israeli army in the Derj neighborhood of the city of Gaza has targeted a school in the Palestinian enclave. Ismail al-Thawabta, head of the Gaza government’s media office, said the Israeli army launched three bombs in their attack on the al-Tabin school in the Daraj neighborhood of Gaza City.
The bombing has killed at least 100 people and injured around 150according to the most recent count published by Gaza’s civil defense agency, a figure that Palestinian authorities say is increasing. Al-Thawabta added that Israel was aware of the presence of displaced people inside the school. ‘Euronews’ has not been able to independently verify the figures.
Previous attacks on schools in the Gaza Strip
On August 8, Israeli planes Abdul Fattah Hamouda and Zahra schools were bombed in the al-Tuffah neighborhood, east of Gaza City, killing 17 civilians and injuring dozens of children, including children and women.

Also on Friday, an Israeli drone hit a car in southern Lebanonkilling the Samer al-Haj, a member of Hamas. The National News Agency said the attack devastated the southern entrance to the port city of Sidon, hitting one of the roads leading to Lebanon’s largest refugee camp, Ein el-Hilweh.
