More than 30 people were injured when a bus overturned packed with illegal migrants on the highway near Bela Palanka, southeast of Serbia. In the vehicle about 50 immigrants were traveling. According to local police, the bus left the road for unknown reasons.
The injured were treated by emergency teams from Niš and Pirot. Most of the migrants were later transferred to the Dimitrovrad reception center, while three remained under observation at the Niš University Hospital. According to reports, The driver lost control of the vehicle while fleeing from the police.

Migrants come to Serbia from Bulgaria o North Macedonia and then travel north and west towards Hungary or Croatia, often packed into vans, buses or cars.
