Russia bombs a 1,000 square meter civilian area, destroying 14 buildings in Ukraine

On the afternoon of June 22, the Russian Army carried out at least four strikes in Kharkiv while the Ukrainian authorities maintained their anti-aircraft alert.

An alert of air strike was in force throughout the region. One of the projectiles hit a high-rise residential building in the city center, in the Osnovianskyi district, Ukraine.

According to preliminary reports, at least two people died and 38 were injured. The Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Ihor Klymenko, reported that more than 250 people from the rescue team and police officers were working at the impact sites from the first minutes.

Utility workers and volunteers are helping clear debris and provide assistance to victims.

Police investigators are thoroughly examining the area, recording every piece of evidence of an unjustified attack against civilians in view of the future trial that will be carried out against Russia.
