Zelensky visits Irish Prime Minister Harris with cyberattacks as a topic on the table

After the NATO summit in Washington, the Ukrainian president made a stop in Ireland to meet with Prime Minister Harris.

Upon his return from Washington, where he attended lto NATO summit in which the allies confirmed Ukraine’s “irreversible” path towards the alliance, the Ukrainian president, Volodímir Zelenskimet with Irish Prime Minister Simon Harris at Shannon Airport in western Ireland on Saturday.

Both discussed support for Ukraine and possible next steps for the implementation of the results of the peace summit last June in Switzerland.

“We discussed support for Ukraine and continued cooperation on demining and cybersecurity. “We also talked about next steps to implement decisions based on the results of the Peace Summit and discussed the efforts needed to increase global attention to the issue of children illegally deported from Russia,” Zelensky wrote in X.

“I thank Ireland for supporting the Peace Summit in Switzerland and the Taoiseach for his strong personal approach and commitment with efforts to bring the children home,” the Ukrainian leader added.

In what seemed like a stopover on his return from Washington, Zelensky took the opportunity to close a meeting con Harriswith whom he seems to have created a good bond and relationship.
