The US president has been under increasing pressure since his erratic and hesitant presence at the debate against Donald Trump last week.
Democrats are divided: a third think Biden is too old and should not run for re-election.
On Wednesday, Biden met at the White House with 24 Democratic governors, several of whom said after the meeting that the president was in good health.
The Governor of Minnesota, Tim Walzwas exhaustive when leaving the meeting: “Yes, he is qualified to be president.. She has been doing it for three and a half years, under difficult circumstances. Nobody denies that His performance on Thursday night was bad.but that does not affect his work as president.”
According to ‘The New York Times‘, Biden has told people he trusts most that only has a few days to convince party members and voters of his fitness for office. If he does not do so, his candidacy could be at risk.
