William Zepeda made it clear last Saturday that he is keeping his options open for his next fight, which might not be against WBC lightweight champion Shakur Stevenson. After his win over Tevin Farmer, Zepeda said he was “mentioned” by the champions, namely Gervonta Davis.

Zepeda wants the big tuna

Farmer won’t say who he sees as “tougher opponents” because there aren’t many in the lightweight division who could withstand Zepeda’s punches. I can see Zepeda beating these top fighters: Raymond Muratalla, Keyshawn Savis, Abdullah Mason, Denys Berinchyk, Edwin De Los Santos and Floyd Schofield.
“So, I could see how he stops a lot of guys coming. I want to see how he does against other elites, if he continues to stop or not. I won’t say a rematch for me because I know it won’t happen. Golden Boy, I’m not crazy. Most people thought I won. I’m not going to sit there and cry about it.”
