SNAC founder Victor Conte questions why Ryan Garcia turned down an offer from Devin Haney’s father and manager, Bill Haney, to accept the 48-hour deadline to begin VADA testing for a potential rematch.
Conte doesn’t understand why Garcia (24-1, 20 KOs) won’t agree to enroll in the drug testing program to get the lucrative rematch underway with Haney (31-0, 15 KOs). In Ryan’s rejection of Bill Haney’s 48-hour deadline to sign up for VADA, he cited this as the reason:
- “They denounce me.”
- “I don’t need it.”
Ryan Garcia forgot to mention that he is still suspended and will not be available to fight until April 2025. It would be pointless for Ryan to sign up for drug testing now while he is suspended and without a signed contract for a rematch with Haney.
Once the rematch is negotiated and a fight date is selected, Garcia, 26, would make sense to enroll in the VADA test. Drug testing is quite expensive, and while Ryan is obviously a millionaire, he is not at the level of The golden age magnate Andrew Carnegie, with his massive $310 billion fortune.
If there is a rematch, Bill and Devin Haney must accept its B-side role in negotiations with Ryan Garcia, who is very popular with his 12 million Instagram followers, charisma and promotional skills. Ryan destroyed Haney in their April 20 fight, winning a 12-round majority decision, and deserves to be the A-side in a potential second fight with Devin.
Let’s recap the latest update @ryangarcia & @realdevinhaney Ryan announces that he is training 4 a rematch with Devin. Devin says OK, let’s do it @vada_testing leaving in 48 hours. Ryan says NO to Devin 4’s offer to both provide anti-doping leadership for boxing. For what?

You have to be a fool if you think they are listening to what Bill Haney is asking
First of all I am suing
Second of all, I don’t need them
LMAO
