In the co-main, Welterweight contenders Jose Ramirez and Arnold Barboza Jr. they fight for positions to fight for the WBO title. It’s hard to tell how much former 140lb unified champion Ramirez (29-1, 18 KOs) has left in the tank at this point, as he hasn’t had a serious fight since his loss to Josh Taylor three years ago in 2021. .
He faced minor opposition in a three-year rebuild, which, in retrospect, was unnecessary.

The fight that many fans seem to be most interested in for the card is the lightweight battle between William Zepeda (31-0, 27 KOs) and Tevin Farmer (33-6-1, 8 KOs), who will fight in a 10-rounder to put the winner in a title fight against WBC champion Shakur Stevenson in February.
The farmer wants to pull off an encounter to ruin Zepeda’s plans, but it doesn’t seem realistic. He’s too old at 34 and doesn’t fit into the 135 lb landscape like he did at 130.
