DAZN card at 2:00 pm ET
Jack Catterall vs. Regis Prograis
Reece Bellotti vs. Michael Gomez Jr
Pat McCormack vs Williams Herrera
James Flint vs Campbell Hatton
Junaid Bostan vs. Maico Summary
It is widely believed that the 36-year-old former WBA and WBC light welterweight champion Prograis (29-2, 24 KOs) has his career on the line. He lost his last fight in December by a wide margin against what should have been a beatable foe and looked equally poor in his first fight in June 2023.
A loss to Catterall would reinforce many people’s view that he is not a world fighter, but just a domestic fighter with a slick style and zero punching power. Matchroom Boxing promoter Eddie Hearn has high hopes for Catterall, but he may need to face the reality that he is not enough top-tier material if he is beaten by Prograis in the main event today.
