The NFL confirmed this Wednesday that Super Bowl LIX on February 9th will have adequate security at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans. Louisiana, this Wednesday was postponed due to the attack of Sugar BowCollege football.

These planning sessions will continue at all major NFL events and “we are confident. Super Bowl attendees will have a safe and enjoyable experience,” the league wrote in a statement.
The NFL’s announcement was made public after an attack that left at least a dozen dead before a college football quarterfinal game, causing the game to be postponed to this Thursday.
The incident took place in the early hours of Wednesday morning. In the popular French neighborhood of Bourbon Street, about 20 blocks from the stadium, dozens of people were celebrating New Year’s and then preparing to attend the playoff game between the University of Georgia and Notre Dame. In the traditional Sugar Bowl, it has been contested since 1935.
A man, in a truck, intentionally ran over a dozen people, according to police. Then, after stopping the vehicle, he got out and fired at the police officers.
“We are deeply saddened by the news of the tragic incident in New Orleans. Our thoughts are with the victims, the New Orleans community and all those affected,” the NFL posted.
Super Bowl LIX on February 9 will be the eighth game to be played at the Caesars Superdome.
