Ryan Garcia is interested in facing cruiserweight Jake Paul when he returns from his one-year suspension in April 2025.
Garcia (24-1, 20 KOs) says his lack of size won’t stop him from beating Jake (11-1, 7 KOs), because he has superior technical skills. Ryan believes he will knock out the 27-year-old Paul in five rounds.
“It could be against Jake Paul. He was trying to beat an old Mike (Tyson). We said we could do it one day, and this guy gave birth to his boxing career. So, I’m here to finish. If if I fought Jake Paul, I’d probably be 185,” Ryan Garcia told Ariel Helwani. YouTube channel, discussing a fight he wants when he returns from his suspension.
“Overall, I think I think I’m too small, but skills pay the bills. If Jake fights the way he fought Mike, I think I’ll beat him in four or five rounds.
Jake hasn’t fought anyone with Ryan’s skills and youth during his short four-year pro career, and it would be a dangerous fight.
