Ryan Garcia says he would give Terence Crawford the “biggest payday of his life” if he agrees to fight. The recently 37-year-old Crawford (41-0, 31 KOs) probably won’t take him up on his offer because he’s set on landing a mega-fight against Canelo Alvarez before he retires, and that’s not looking like it. it’s going to happen.

If Ryan was serious about wanting to fight Crawford, it would be crazy for him to turn down the fight. He’s not going to get the Canelo fight in a million years, and there’s no one at 147, 154, 160, or 168 that can provide the payday that Ryan would.

Garcia (24-1, 20 KOs) could have pulled Crawford’s chin by telling fans he’d love to fight him because he’s currently in no position to fight anyone. On social media today, Ryan said he wants to do some exhibition matches in Japan, but that probably won’t involve Crawford.

Ryan, 26, says he thinks Crawford is boring, and that’s really true. Crawford is boring to watch because he is a boxer. The guys he chased were either old, wrecked from car accidents, or not that good to begin with.

“As for Bud Crawford, I already called him. I think he’s just trying to fight Canelo Alvarez. So, I don’t think it’s going to happen,” said Ryan Garcia social mediaThey talk about wanting to fight Terence Crawford.

“I’d like to fight Bud Crawford. I don’t think he’s as good as people say he is. I’m saying this publicly, and I’m saying it live now. If Bud is listening, I’d like to fight him. I feel like I’ll literally beat you the shit.”

Crawford would be terribly spoiled for him to pass on an offer like this to fight Ryan, because he’s not going to get anything better.

“You’re a good fighter, but I don’t think you’ve ever beaten anybody with talent and explosiveness and power. In my opinion, you could have beaten Shawn Porter. He’s a great fighter, but a little basic. Errol Spence Jr. is came from a crash. I don’t think so,” Garcia said.

“Have you fought anybody with one-punch knockout power? No. So, I think Bud Crawford is overrated. You guys can have your own opinion on that. That’s how I feel. I’m a boxer. I’m stuck with it. I’m going to fight and beat the (padding) out of him. That’s it. Point blank,” Garcia said.

The left hook that Ryan Garcia was throwing would definitely knock Crawford out if he landed on the button. Crawford was hurt badly by former featherweight champion Yuriorkis Gamboa several years ago, and if he was hurt then, he can be just as hurt now by Ryan. Crawford took a lot of hard shots from Israil Madrimov in their fight on August 3, and that couldn’t have done him any good.

“I’m actually going to fight him. There’s a difference. I’m actually going to fight him. You’ll actually see Ryan Garcia in the ring with Bud Crawford. I can’t speak for these other fighters. I don’t know if Tank will fight Bud Crawford, but I know I’m going to do it. I’m going to fight Bud Crawford with pride, and I’m going to give it everything I’ve got,” Garcia said.

A fight between Ryan and Crawford would make big numbers, but only for Kingry. Crawford would come to the fight. It might not matter if Turki Alalshikh pays Crawford, but the PPV numbers wouldn’t be at the level of Garcia’s fight against Gervonta Davis.

“If he doesn’t want it, it’s not my fault. If he doesn’t think it’s a match, it’s not my fault. It’s not a draw. He doesn’t bring anything to the table. It’s boring as and shit, but I’ll probably give him the biggest payday of his life if he takes the fight,” Ryan said.

If His Excellency Turki Alalshikh is interested in paying Crawford tons of money to fight an unpopular fighter from the 154-lb division, he probably will. He won’t agree to fight anyone not named Canelo without Turki paying him well.
