Ruud Van Nistelrooy is the new Leicester City manager

Leicester City have confirmed the arrival of Ruud van Nistelrooy on the first team bench with a contract until 2027.

The Foxes sacked Steve Cooper five months after hiring him and are hoping to replace him to reverse the club’s string of poor results.

Van Nistelrooy comes from Manchester United where he worked Replaced Erik ten Haag They have three wins and a draw in four games.

Regarding his new role, the former footballer noted:

Leicester are 16th Premier League10 points out of a possible 36 and one from the relegation zone.

The Dutchman will travel with the team for the match against Brentford, although he is not yet a coach. His debut is expected to take place on Tuesday, December 3 when the ‘Fox’ host West Ham.
