Madrimov (10-1-1, 7 KOs) is still scheduled to face interim WBC 154-lb champion Vergil Ortiz Jr. on the February 22 card. Skipping what would have been a tough fight against Bohachuk will make it easier for Madrimov to fight Vergil.
