Anthony Joshua says his focus is to get a fight against Tyson Fury in 2025. Joshua (28-4, 25 KOs) wants to make the mega-fight against former WBC heavyweight champion Fury (34-2 -1, 24 KOs) recently beaten. ) coming soon.

Luring Fury Back

Fury, 36, was shut out by unified champion Oleksandr Usyk on December 21 in Riyadh, and is no doubt wondering what went wrong this time for him to be beaten for the second time. It seemed he had no more.

His performance, or lack thereof, showed why it is important to get the “Battle of Britain” fight against Joshua done soon. Some believe that Fury could announce his retirement, and they are ahead ‘R’ watchesexpecting a tearful speech from him.

Joshua needs to increase the pressure on Fury to strengthen him and motivate him to stay because he can do something impulsive. He retreated once, only to return.

“2025, I’m destined for Tyson Fury,” said Anthony Joshua to Sky Sports News.

He needs cheers from Joshua and others to make him believe he did better than he did.

AJ has more reason to retire than Fury as he was knocked out by IBF heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois in his fifth loss on September 21 in front of over 90,000 fans at London’s Wembley Stadium. It was a complete mismatch, with Joshua being dropped four times.

Joshua had never been defeated like this before. You could see that Dubois was too strong, young, and out of his league talent. However, it would be the same if Dubois was fighting Fury. It could be even easier because his punch resistance is gone, and he would have nothing to hold Dubois for a moment.

“It makes me hungry, it makes me want to work harder. Time is of the essence; Time is limited, so I just want to put in more work,” Joshua said about his loss to Daniel Dubois on September 21.

“When I look back, I believe I could have done more in 2024. I have another chance in 2025 to do more, and I have to make sure I take every opportunity that comes my way. I should have won, but I didn’t, and I will go again,” said Joshua.

Joshua should forget about Dubois permanently and focus entirely on fighting Fury twice before calling it a day. Getting back with Daniel would be a bad idea.
