Sin mercy. Jake Paul destroyed Conor McGregor in a statement to ‘The MMA Hour’ this Wednesday. The 27-year-old American boxer, who is set to fight Mike Perry while waiting for Mike Tyson, charged at the Irishman after his UFC return against Michael Chandler was cancelled. McGregor, who was going to fight this June 29, saw his return postponed due to an injury.
These were his words on Ariel Helwani’s show after he asked him if McGregor will be invited to his fight with Perry:
“Yes, we could get a ticket for the fourth or fifth row. He has lost his celebrity and star power. I don’t think people really care anymore. There are new sheriffs in town, he hasn’t won a fight in a long time. He is embarrassing himself, he is ruining his legacy, especially with what he broadcasts on the networks. He has lost his mind. He is a maniac. At one point Conor was great, but now I feel sorry for him. You can say all these things, but he’s not great and he hasn’t proven anything. “That’s how I see it from the facts and the numbers.”
