It was a terrible day for general managers, head coaches and coaching staffs. Some found out the day before that they lost their jobs. But it is usually the first Monday after the end of the regular season that is why it is called ‘Black Monday’.

Brian Daboll with the Giants, Shane Steichen with the Colts, Kevin Stefanski with the Browns, Jack Taylor with the Bengals, Mike McDaniels with the Dolphins and Mike McCarthy with the Cowboys were other names on the hot seat, but as of Monday there was no announcement that they would lose their jobs.

Along with Jerrod Mayo, the Patriots have a running back: Robert Kraft
