The Cowboys are off to a 3-4 start Injuries, mistakes and generally sufferingPoor American football.
Dak Prescott has become a turnover machine, throwing eight interceptions in seven games after finishing with just nine all 2023. Offensively, the Cowboys lack punch and consistency. Almost on a weekly basis.
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is well aware of his current reality, describing the start as “a tougher road than I expected,” but remains optimistic as Dallas approaches the season’s halfway point.

“It’s tough, I didn’t expect the challenges we’re going to face with this team,” Jones said Friday, “but I remember teams I’ve seen have a lot of wins and put themselves in shooting positions to go 3.-4.”
His team will face a litmus test of quality this weekend against a Falcons (5-3) team that challenged opposing defenses last month, averaging 30 points per game in that stretch. At 3-4, this is a critical point in the season to initiate a change of course.
The Cowboys’ loss in Week 6 stood out on Sunday
“Heck, I’d like to say I want to (win) every game, but obviously, I’d say 3-4, like I said, there’s a lot of season left, but it’s the first to say that. The hope is to be back on par, especially with a couple of home games. Then,” Prescott said.
