Floyd Mayweather, the undefeated boxing champion, has announced a new charitable initiative aimed at supporting Israeli orphans, pledging to bring them birthday gifts during the coming year.

In an Instagram post shared on Sunday night, the former US national featherweight champion detailed the Mayweather Israel Initiative, a plan that sees the “Floyd Mobile” visit every orphan in Israel and deliver special birthday gifts. The launch coincided with Mayweather’s appearance at a Standing Together event in Israel, just hours before his online announcement.

“In the coming year, every orphan in Israel will be visited by Floyd Mobile and receive special birthday gifts,” Mayweather wrote. “To all widows and orphans: hold your heads high as we honor the cherished memories of those who have passed.”

Mayweather extended his gratitude to Shai Graucher, founder of Chessed V’Rachamim (also known as Standing Together), an organization known for a number of charitable efforts, including supporting IDF bases and organizing trips for widows and orphans .

Since the events of October 7, Mayweather has been vocal in his support for Israel. He was among the first high-profile figures to visit the country after the attacks and has consistently contributed to Israeli organizations, including United Hatzalah and Magen David Adom.
