After the Yankees intentionally walked Mookie Betts to face Freddie Freeman with a one-run lead in the 10th inning, Freeman paid for his bravery to lead the Dodgers to a 6-3 victory in Game 1 of the World Series.
A tense, tight, back-and-forth game ended in dramatic fashion with the Dodgers fighting to the end and Freeman’s two-out home run in the bottom of the 10th inning.
Competition was fierce at all times. The Dodgers hit a pair of sacrifice flies, while the Yankees benefited from Giancarlo Stanton’s two-run homer, and it was tied 2-2 after nine innings.

It set up a thrilling finale.
