“Exercising my authority as president of the WBC, I am hereby expelling Ryan García from any activity related to our organization. We reject any form of discrimination. I fear for the well-being of Ryan García, who has declined multiple attempts to receive help from us with mental health and substance abuse,” Sulaimán shared on his social networks.

Ryan García published comments against the Muslim population, black citizens and expressed negative opinions about the case of the death of George Floyd (“Let’s bring George Floyd back to life and kill that black man again”).
“I hate black people, I’m anti-black, I’m the KKK (Ku Klux Klan)”was another of the racist comments published by the 25-year-old American boxer.

Ryan García’s parents have spoken out about the boxer’s controversial racist words.
“Our son has recently made statements that do not align with his true character or beliefs or those of our family. Our family unequivocally does not support any statements he has made regarding race or religion; these do not reflect who Ryan really is and how he was raised,” they shared.
