Nelson started fast, using activity to dominate the first three rounds. Pachinu took it with his toe kick, and controlled from the quarter through the middle nelson. In the last two rounds, a bloody nelson like a new man, going after pacheco, chased with big shots that were 23 years old.
The energy the 36-year-old showed in the 11th and 12th rounds was impressive. That’s what was missing from him in the contest party, where he fought.
