In the main event, IBF World Welterweight champion Jaron ‘Boots’ Ennis won a 12-round unanimous decision over IBF No. 1 Karen Chukhadzhian on Saturday night in front of more than 10,000 fans at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia. Ennis scored a lone takedown in the fifth round when Chukhadzhian took a knee.
In the main event, WBC World Super Flyweight champion Jesse ‘Bam’ Rodriguez stopped WBC Interim Super Flyweight champion Pedro Guevara in three rounds.
Ennis (33-0, 29) defeated Chukhadzhian (24-3, 13 KOs) by a 12-round unanimous decision. In the first round Ennis came out of the south controlled for the most part until the last minute when Chukhadzhian landed a right to the side of the head stunning Ennis. In the second through fourth rounds, the fight was all inside, with little action and an even fight.
In the fifth round, Ennis, in the last minute, landed a right uppercut to the chin, dropping Chukhadzhian for an 8 count from Referee Harvey Dock. Ennis was cautioned several times for low blows in the sixth round.
In the seventh round, Ennis was given a stiff warning by referee Dock a second time for a low blow. Both had their moments the rest of the round. Chukhadzhian landed his best punch of the fight, left on Ennis’ chin midway through the round. In the last minute, Ennis had his way with Chukhadzhian, landed the final punch of the round, but may have lost the round.
In the ninth round, unlike his first fight, Chukhadzhian was running but fighting and showing a decent chin, except for an early knockdown. Between rounds, trainer Bozy Ennis once again showed his frustration that Boots hadn’t finished the fight.
Referee Dock took a point for Chukhadzhian’s consistency in the tenth. During the rest of the round, Chukhadzhian fought back, and Ennis got the better of him.
In the eleventh round Chukhadzhian came out fighting as in any moment of the fight making a fight. In the twelfth and final round both had their moments. Ennis won the fight, but not as in his usual previous performances, except for the lone blow.
The scores were 119-107, 117-109 and 116-110.
WBC World Super Fly champion Jesse ‘Bam’ Rodriguez, 21-0 (14) stopped WBC Interim Super Fly champion Pedro Guevara (42-5-1, 21 KOs) at 2:47 of the third round in a 12 round programmed
Rodriguez tried to land the big punch in the first two rounds, but Guevara kept him busy enough to stop that.
In the last minute of the third round, Rodriguez dropped Guevara with a left on the chin for an 8 count from Referee Ricky Gonzalez. Seconds later, a right uppercut from Rodriguez on the chin and down Guevara without a count from the referee Gonzalez.
Former WBA World Feather and current WBA Continental Americas Feather, southpaw Raymond “Savage” Ford (16-1-1, 8 KOs) defeated southpaw Orlando “Capu” Gonzalez (23-3, 13 KOs in ten round for the vacant WBA Continental). Super Featherweight Title.
Scores 99-89, 100-88, and 100-88.
In the first round, Ford had an advantage landing Gonzalez. In the second round, a right hook from Ford knocked Gonzalez under the ropes for an 8-count by referee Shawn Clark. Somehow, he managed to get through the rest of the lap.
From the third round to the fifth, little happened. In the sixth round, Ford came out, landed some hard punches through Gonzalez’s gloves, and a right hand landed.
In the seventh round, Ford landed overhand left after left with seconds to go a right hook from Ford on the chin and down Gonzalez for an 8-count by referee Clark. Gonzalez was chased around the ring in the ninth and tenth rounds, just trying to make it to the final bell.
WBC USA lightweight champion Khalil ‘Big Steppa’ Coe (9-1-1, 7 KOs) was stopped by Manuel ‘El Meno’ Gallegos (21-2-1, 18 KOs) at 07 of the ninth round of a dozen expected. round
In the final minute of the first round, Coe rocked Gallegos with a right to the chin, knocking his head off. In the second round, both had their moments until the last minute when Coe came back at Gallegos with a right to the chin, knocking him down. In the final minute of the third round, Gallegos began to take over Coe’s body, taking his first round.
In the fourth round, from the midway point to the bell, Gallegos landed, at times, half a dozen unanswered punches. He dominated Coe. At the fifth round midway point, a body shot from Gallegos dropped Coe for an 8 count from referee Eric Dali. In the final seconds, Coe came back good.
In the seventh round, Gallegos picked up where he left off, going to Coe’s body, having him on the defense at midpoint, landed three straights, the second an uppercut to the chin from Gallegos, and dropped Coe from a body shot for an 8-count.
In the eighth round, in the first minute, Gallegos dropped Coe with a body shot, scoring the third fight of the fight. In the ninth round, Gallegos came out, landed four punches to the chin, and dropped Coe as referee Dali waved him off.
Former WBA International and IBF North American middleweight southpaw champion Austin ‘Ammo’ Williams (17-1, 12 KOs) stopped Gian ‘Double G’ Garrido (11-2, 8 KOs) at 1:04 of the fifth round of an expected eight. round
In the final minute of the first round, the southpaw Williams landed a big left on Garrido’s chin, bringing a roar from the crowd. In the second round, the swelling started under Garrido’s right eye. In the final minute of the third round, they traded punches, with Williams getting the better of it.
In the fourth round, Garrido came back well enough to take the lap. In the fifth round, Williams opened up, having Garrido’s face all smashed up and out on his feet from numerous punches before Referee Harvey Dock stepped in with Garrido’s head bouncing around like a rubber ball.
Welterweight southpaw Ish ‘The Chef’ Muhammad (6-0, 3 KOs) defeated Nelson Morales (5-19, 2 KOs) in six rounds.
In the first two rounds, Muhammad dominated with his hand and foot speed. In the third round, in the last 30 seconds, Muhammad landed a lead left to the chin, stopping Morales in his tracks. Morales acted more like a wrestling match than a boxing match.
In the fourth and final round, Muhammad, on several occasions, landed 3-punch combinations.
The scores were 40-36, 40-36 and 40-36.

Super bantamweight southpaw Dennis Thompson (3-0, 1 KO) defeated Edgar Ortiz, Jr. (8-6-2, 4 KOs) in four rounds.
Super featherweight Zaquin Moses (1-0) defeats Michael Ruiz, 1-5) by a four-round decision.
