Ethe fight between Mike Tyson y Jake Paul has already been rescheduled after an ulcer suffered by ‘Iron Mike’ gave him a scare during a flight in which the former champion had to be treated urgently. The fight, of a professional nature although with certain modifications such as two-minute rounds, was initially scheduled for July 20 at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington (Texas).
The new date is November 15 and in the same location. There was concern that the fight would be canceled entirely, but it has now been made public that everything is going ahead.
According to Paul’s promotional team (Most Valuable Promotions), both Nextflix (airing the fight) and AT&T Stadium “have been collaborative and flexible” after this setback. The new date is in line with the advice of doctors, who told Tyson that he would not be able to compete until the last quarter of 2024. “Although we had to postpone the fight, I will resume training shortly”the former heavyweight monarch has expressed.
