Tonight’s DAZN PPV co-feature fight between Serhii Bohachuk and Ishmael Davis has an excellent chance to steal the show from the Tyson Fury vs. Oleksandr Usyk 2 rematch in the main event at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Bohachuk-Davis: Stealing the Show?
Former WBC interim junior middleweight champion Bohachuk (24-2, 23 KOs) was involved in what many believe was the fight of the year in his last contest against Vergil Ortiz Jr. on the 10th of August. Bohachuk knows only one way to fight: attack without stopping. In contrast, the Fury-Usyk 2 head-to-head could end up being a chess match and lacking in drama.
To save the card, Bohachuk and Davis must bring excitement to the fans who order the event live on DAZN PPV. Davis is fortunate not only to have a fight coming off a 12-round split decision loss to Josh Kelly on Sept. 21, but also fighting in the WBC 154-lb title eliminator. If he can win this fight, he will fight for a world title and get a seven-figure payday.
“Ismael Davis took this fight in a short time. I think it’s 10 days, if that. He’s a British level fighter. He has one loss. He’s not a big puncher. There are no major victories on his record or victories average in his record. I’m not saying he’s not good, but he’s never done it before.
