The undisputed light heavyweight championship fight between Artur Beterbiev and Dmitry Bivol will now be shown live on DAZN PPV, with the undercard on October 12 from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Previously, the Beterbiev-Bivol fight had been cut from the paper and shown only on ESPN+ for subscribers to that platform. However, Shakur Stevenson pulled out of the DAZN PPV headliner for the undercard; the Beterbiev vs Bivol fight will now be shown on that platform.
Fans who don’t have an ESPN+ subscription can watch the Beterbiev vs. Bivol fight for free. They can also order for $14.99 on DAZN PPV and see it with the undercard, which features several fighters from the United Kingdom. If fans are not interested in subscribing to ESPN+, paying to watch on DAZN PPV is a good option.
The undercard is a mixed bag of hits and misses. Things started badly in the main support fight between middleweight Chris Eubank Jr. and the newspaper Kamil Szeremeta. Not a fight worthy of being shown on DAZN PPV for the co-feature.
The 34-year-old Eubank Jr. is a career underachiever who has stepped up just once in his career at world level and was royally thrashed by George Groves in 2018. Since then, Eubank Jr. he returned to his domestic roots. , and never dared to fight another top level fighter. So it stands out like a sore thumb on PPV, looking completely out of place.
