As reported by BoxingScene, the super middleweight clash between Diego Pacheco and Steven Nelson is headed to Las Vegas. They will fight at The Cosmopolitan on Saturday, January 25, with the show featuring Cuban star Andy Cruz in action against Omar Salcido and Ernesto Merca. Do and Jose Pedraza
Pacheco is 22-0 (18 KO), Nelson is 20-0 (16 KO).
“I am very excited to be back in the ring in early 2025 against another undefeated opponent – the DP show continues,” said. Pacheco–

Just like Pacheco Cruz and Mercado also hope to advance to the world title in 2025.
Cuban hotshot Cruz (4-0, 2 KO), Olympic gold medalist Ranked 4th in the WBA and IBF lightweight division.

Salcido, 20-1 (14 KO), said he is working hard and is ready for war.
“Andy Cruz is a talented fighter, however I am up for the challenge. I know the importance of this fight. A win over Cruz would be huge and would open up some great opportunities. So much for me,” he said.
Mercado, 16-0 (15 KO), is taking on veteran Pedraza, 29-6-1 (14 KO).
“I am excited to be back on stage again. And what’s more, I will now face former world champion Jose Pedraza on January 25 in Las Vegas,” he said. Mercado– “Make no mistake, because I’m going to fuck his ass in a way you’ve never seen before.”
