A fight between IBF heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois and interim WBO champion Joseph Parker is scheduled for a giant Riyadh Seaon card on February 22. The fight is not yet official, but it is referred to in the works.
Fresh from his fifth destruction of Anthony Joshua on September 21, Dubois (22-2, 21 KOs) could be an exciting matchup against the crafty 32-year-old Parker (35-3, 23 KOs).
This fight will show if the 27-year-old Dubois can handle a slick heavyweight who uses movement, angles, and short jabs to steal rounds. Parker has changed his fighting style, becoming a slick fighter since losing to Joe Joyce in 2022.
Joyce will have to take the fight to Parker and beat him hard for three minutes of any second round victory. Parker’s last two opponents, Zhilei Zhang and Deontay Wilder, failed to fight hard and allowed him to get the better of them.
Also scheduled for the February 22 card is the Artur Beterbiev vs. Dmitry Bivol rematch, and the Shakur Stevenson vs. Floyd Schofield matchup. No fight has yet taken place.
“Dubois-Parker & Beterbiev-Bivol2 scheduled for February 22 Riyadh season card that will be absolutely stacked,” said Dan Rafael on X.
