Former WBA super middleweight belt holder Callum Smith will return to the ring on November 30 in Birmingham, England, it was announced today (November 17).
Now 29-2 (21), light heavyweight Smith last returned to the box in January. When he was stopped in seven rounds by Russia’s Artur Beterbiev in his WBC, IBF and WBO title fight, he had previously defeated Mathieu Bauderlique and Gilbert Castillo Rivera in four rounds and two following. number
His last fight as a super middleweight was a 12-round decision loss at the hands of Mexican Saul “Canelo” Alvarez in December 2020.
This next fight will be Smith’s 32nd as a professional. It will be held at Resorts World Arena in Birmingham. There will be a flyweight fight between Sunny Edwards and Galal Yafai, Smith’s opponents were not named in the announcement.
