He has not boxed in the UK since his April 2022 win over Chris van Heerden, but is scheduled to fight Chris. Eubanks later that year This was before anti-doping tests revealed clomifen in his system. A long and expensive legal wrangling ensued, with Benn claiming innocence every step of the way.

“It is over and it is a blessing for me to say that I am cleared of any wrongdoing. not once Not twice, but three times, and I’m excited to have my career back on the road,” he told DAZN in Philadelphia. “It’s been a long time. It’s been two long years. I’ve been through hell many times. But I am ready to remind everyone why I am the best 147 in the world. And I’m ready to prove it.

“For me personally I want to win the world title, the WBC world title, that’s the winner of (Mario) Barrios and (Abel) Ramos.” That’s the fight I really want if Jaron Ennis wants to fight. At 147 years old, I’m No. 2 and he’s No. 1. We can keep fighting. You want to challenge yourself with the best. Anyone who has a belt wants one.

“If (Chris) Eubank wants it. And he really wanted it. And he doesn’t do nonsense. He’s going to get it.” I’m going to go up to 160, beat him for good, get down to 147 and fight for the world title. I am sure that fight will not last four rounds.”

Promoter Eddie Hearn said he is equally excited to welcome Benn back to the show. And he hopes he can lead Benn to a championship fight. And possibly in England too.

“This man refuses to take the easy route. and tried to accept punishment that he did not deserve and did not warrant. And he remains faithful to the cause. And it might cost him a little time. But in the end To have it completely cleared is a great result,” Hearn said. “That’s all in the past.”

last week The British Boxing Board of Control issued a statement saying: “The British Boxing Board of Control is aware that Conor Benn released a public statement on the 6th.Thai November 2024 In connection with litigation between UK Anti-Doping and him, BBBofC refers to a statement published in response by UKAD to a statement from UK Anti-Doping regarding Conor Benn/UK Anti-Doping We are considering our position.
