After the painful win against Girona at the Parc des Princes (0-1), the Moroccan defender of Paris Saint-Germain assured that it was a “very difficult match” and that the goal came in a “very stupid way”.
Akraf said Girona tried to take over from PSG and created “some problems” as they played with “personality with and without the ball”. But fatigue slowed the Catalan side in the second half and PSG were able to create “more chances” to make it 1-0 in the final with a 90th minute own goal from Paulo Gazzanica.
The Moroccan defender was “delighted” for the three points but insisted the team must focus on achieving more wins as the new format of the Champions League is “difficult”.
Despite Kylian Mbappe’s farewell, he stressed that “the club’s aim is to do well in all competitions and try to win them all”.
In this sense, PSG is one of the teams that are most excited to win the Champions League because it has never been achieved and Achief Hakimi assured that he has the squad to achieve it.
