Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky declared on Thursday that Ukraine and its partners are working on new agreements on international security.
In his evening speech, Zelenski highlighted that the agreements with its international partners will be signed during this month August.
“Tomorrow we will begin negotiations with another European country. We are also preparing the leaders’ visits to Ukraine and, therefore, the content of our negotiations and the long-term philosophy of our agreements,” added the president, who concluded his speech by thanking the military for their efforts on the battlefield.
For its part, Russia closed the door on Thursday to facilitate territorial concessions in the event that they participate in peace talksafter the Ukrainian president recently requested the attendance of Russian representatives at the next international peace summit What will be celebrated in November.
At a press conference, the President of the Russian Senate, Valentina Matviyenko, said that Russia will not “no territorial concession“in relation to the Ukrainian territories illegally annexed by Moscow after the Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022.
