Jude Bellingham was chosen Player of the Year at Real Madrid after completing his first season with the ‘Merengue’ team.
In 2023/24, the Englishman played 42 games in which he scored 23 goals and provided 13 assists; With that mark he was placed in second place in the club’s scoring table, behind Vinícius Júnior (24).
After receiving the Player of the Year trophy at Real Madrid, Bellingham assured:
“I’m really proud to achieve it in my first year. It makes me very happy and I am very grateful to the fans for choosing me. I am very happy to be here and to be part of this family. I hope you enjoyed watching me play. “It has been a great year.”
Regarding the best moments he experienced, the midfielder said that he takes “my first goal against Barcelona, from outside the area” as one of the most valuable, as well as the one he scored against Napoli, especially “because of the dribble.”
This recognition is added to that of Player of the Season awarded to him by La Liga; as well as the three player of the Month badges, also awarded by the Spanish tournament.
