The president of the USA, Joe Bidenhas made a vigorous attempt to calm concerns about its unstable performance in its debate with former president Donald Trump.
Biden’s halting speech and meandering comments, especially early in the debate, have fueled concerns. concerns among members of his own party that at 81 he is unprepared for the task of leading the country for another four years.
“I know I’m not a young man. I state the obvious,” he told supporters at a rally in North Carolina.
“I don’t walk as easily as before. I don’t speak as fluently as I used to.. I don’t debate as well as I used to. But I know what I know. I know how to tell the truth. I know how to distinguish good from evil. I know how to do this job. I know how to do things. “I know, as millions of Americans know, that when you get knocked down you get back up.”
During his speech at the Raleigh event, which lasted 18 minutes, Biden seemed much more animated than at the Thursday debate at night on ‘CNN’.
He lashed out at Donald Trump for his “lies” and for running a campaign aimed at “revenge and retribution.”
Biden’s performance in Thursday’s televised debate against Donald Trump left members of the Democratic Party questioning whether he should seek re-election.

The president spoke with a hoarse voice and Biden appeared to lose the thread while trying to answer a question about tax policyending his sentence with a reference to Medicare.
At other times, he turned toward seemingly unrelated topics and he did not get his arguments understood.
For its part, Trump appeared calmdespite his repeated provocative and false statements.
As the debate progressed, he himself Trump stumbled over questions about how he would honor his oath of office of the position after the January 6 attacks on the US Capitol.
Biden launched a series of criticisms against the former president, calling him a “convicted felon” with the morals of a “street cat.”
In fact, in his X’s personal account, Biden has been attacking Trump claiming that he only wants the presidency for interest and remuneration or the phrase “Donald Trump is pathetic and a loser.”
Trump was found guilty last month of 34 counts of falsifying business records over a 2016 hush money payment to adult film star Stormy Daniels.
