Jesús Navas became the oldest Spanish footballer against Albania to compete in a final phase of the Euro Cup at 38 years and 216 days, with a physical display, covering 10.42 kilometers on the right wing and a maximum speed of 32.6 kilometers per hour.

Time passes by Navas every time he puts on the Spanish national team shirt and he made his debut in his second Euro Cup, after winning the 2012 one, integrating a unique generation of footballers.

Navas surpassed Aritz Aduriz’s record in one Euro Cup (35 years and 137 days) and Andoni Zubizarrera in a World Cup (34 years and 243 days), in addition to becoming the oldest player to play for Spain in a match in the final phase of a major tournament, he became a member of the historic eleven of the oldest players who have played in a European Championship.
