On the institution’s manicured lawn, which is normally kept pristine for the visit of leaders and heads of statepainting booths, photo booths, balloons and ribbons were set up, and traditional national anthems were replaced by thunderous dance music.
The bill passed its final reading in the Senate on Tuesday, after having been approved in the Lower House. Now requires royal pro forma endorsementfollowed by its publication in the Official Government Gazette, which will set the date on which it will come into force in 120 days.
