Coach Bernie Tha Boxer confirmed that Terence Crawford vs. Canelo Alvarez is “For September 13.”
Bernie says crawford (41-0, 31 kos) won the fight against CANDELLO CANDOLEWELEWE SEBEL (62-2-2, 39 KOS, and he does not need to go to 168 to beat any of the contenders. What he did from 135 to 154 is enough.

Bernie says that Crawford’s name comes first before the canelo of September 13. It’s hard to believe, obviously. It looks like a mess from crawford and his team, but if Marco Al-Sheikh is willing to pay the age of 38 years to go up two weight classes to fight canelo. You can argue that Crawford is dodging his own fighters late in his career the same way Pacquiao did when he was interested or 38 and showing no interest. Crawford is not currently fighting Jaron Ennis, Bakhram Murrazaliev, Vergil Ortiz, or Serhii Bohachik. He did the same Pacquiao was late in his career, picking and choosing.
