When you don’t capitalize on your opponent’s mistakes, you usually pay a higher price. This is what happened with the Los Angeles Chargers. They came in as favorites and fell 32-12 against the Houston TexansInstead, they went from low to high, overcame their losses and qualified for the divisional round.
Justin Herbert had his worst game of the season and had a bad time. He only had three interceptions in the regular season and his luck and performance have been so poor, he had 4 in this Saturday’s game alone, two by Derek Stingley Jr.

And it’s precisely Houston’s defense that deserves an honorable mention. He neutralized the Chargers’ potent offense, which was a little desperate, and while they had clear opportunities to reach the opponent’s corners, these were squandered one by one.
In the second half, John Harbaugh’s team completely fell apart, especially mentally. Many of the mistakes were not trivial despite the great efforts of players like Ladd McConkey, who finished with 197 yards and 1 touchdown.

For the Texans, Joe Mixon finished with 105 yards on the ground, and C.J. Stroud recovered fumbles and finished with 282 yards and a touchdown pass.
The Texans have already qualified for the divisional playoffs and continue to surprise. Many people place them as ‘dark horses’ and as seen today, there are many clear reasons to consider them.
