“I leave Cruz Azul with joy, I already want to be in Chivas”: Luis Romo

Sure he’d love to spend more than six months at Cruz Azul and boast more than just a points record, but Luis Romo now has a new challenge: putting Chivas on top.

The Mexican midfielder was intercepted by journalists at the airport ahead of his trip to Guadalajara, where he will finalize a deal with the most beloved team in Mexico, which has shown a keen interest in recruiting him.

“I think going to Sivas might be a dream come true. After being in Cruz Azul today, I know what it means to be there, I know what it’s like, and I know it’s a huge responsibility.
